The Route

Dubrovnik → Mostar → Sarajevo → Kotor (or reverse). Three border crossings, three countries, one unforgettable week.

Day 1–2: Dubrovnik

Arrive and settle in. Walk the city walls early morning (€35, go at 8am to beat cruise crowds). Explore the old town, take the cable car for sunset, and swim at Banje Beach. Day 2: take the ferry to Lokrum Island or kayak around the walls. Evening drinks at Buža Bar.

Stay: 2 nights | Things to do in Dubrovnik

Day 3: Dubrovnik → Mostar

Private transfer with stops at Počitelj and Blagaj on the way. Arrive in Mostar by lunch. Walk across Stari Most, eat cevapi (from €8) in the old town, watch the bridge divers, explore the copper bazaar. Evening: enjoy Bosnian coffee on the Neretva.

Day 4–5: Mostar → Sarajevo

Morning: stop at Kravica Waterfalls (€8, swim in summer) on the way to Sarajevo. Drive through the Neretva canyon. Arrive by lunch. Day 4 afternoon: Baščaršija, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, cevapi at Ćevabdžinica Željo. Day 5: Tunnel of Hope (€10), Trebević cable car, Latin Bridge, War Childhood Museum.

Day 6–7: Sarajevo → Kotor

Long but spectacular drive. Option A: direct to Kotor (5–6 hrs via Trebinje). Option B: transfer back to Dubrovnik, then onward to Kotor next day. Day 6: arrive and explore Kotor old town. Day 7: boat to Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks, climb San Giovanni fortress (1,350 steps), or drive up the Lovćen serpentine road.
