Book Pristina → Tirana →Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, is linked to Tirana by the Rruga e Kombit — the 'Nation's Highway' — a modern motorway of long tunnels and mountain viaducts that makes the 255 km feel much shorter than it looks. The route runs north-east through Kukës, crosses into Kosovo at Morinë, and passes Prizren before reaching Pristina in about three and a half hours. It's the main road link between the two Albanian-speaking capitals.
Prizren — Kosovo's prettiest old town, with its Ottoman bridge, Sinan Pasha Mosque and hillside fortress — sits right on the route just past the border. Many guests add it as a stop, or book Tirana → Prizren on its own. Tell us if you'd like time there and we'll quote it inclusively.
