Heading the other way? Mostar to Tivat runs the same inland road via Trebinje back to the Bay of Kotor.
Book Mostar → Tivat →Tivat to Mostar is a 174 km cross-border transfer of about 3h 30m. There are two ways to do it. The inland road via Risan, Vilusi and Trebinje crosses one border, from Montenegro straight into Bosnia and Herzegovina. The coastal road through Croatia and Dubrovnik crosses two for the same drive time. We default to the inland route unless you specifically want the coast.
Your driver follows the Bay of Kotor through Kotor and Perast, then climbs from Risan onto the karst plateau to the Vilusi junction and the Vraćenovići–Deleuša crossing — a quiet inland border where 5–15 minutes is typical. On the Bosnian side the road drops to Trebinje, then runs north-west through the Herzegovina karst past Ljubinje and Stolac into the Neretva valley and Mostar.
Who books this: guests finishing a Bay of Kotor or Porto Montenegro stay and moving on to Bosnia, cruise passengers with an overnight in Tivat who want the Old Bridge, and travellers landing at Tivat Airport who are heading for Mostar or Sarajevo. Trebinje is the stop most guests add — it is quieter than Mostar and serves some of the best food in the region.
The price is per vehicle and includes fuel, tolls and the border crossing. Pickup is door-to-door from any Tivat address, the marina or the airport terminal; drop-off is at your Mostar accommodation or the edge of the pedestrian old town.
Everything specific to this route.
