The shortest transfer we run in Montenegro — 11 km from Kotor’s walled town through the Vrmac ridge to Tivat, Porto Montenegro and the airport. Fifteen minutes, no borders, and useful precisely when a taxi is hardest to find.
Drive from Kotor to Tivat in about 15 minutes. Private transfer from €50 per vehicle, all-inclusive — fuel, English-speaking driver, door-to-door.
Pickup anywhere in Kotor — the Old Town Sea Gate, Dobrota, Muo or Prčanj. From the quay the road runs south along the bay to Škaljari and the tunnel mouth.
The 1.6 km tunnel under the Vrmac ridge is the whole reason this drive takes a quarter of an hour. It is open around the clock, year-round.
Drop-off at your address, at the Porto Montenegro marina, or at Tivat Airport (TIV) on the southern edge of town. For a flight we time the pickup to your departure rather than to a fixed slot.
Per vehicle, not per person. All prices include tolls, fuel, luggage handling, water, and child seats on request.

Traveling the other way? Tivat to Kotor is the same route in reverse.
Book Tivat → Kotor →Kotor to Tivat is eleven kilometres and about fifteen minutes — the shortest relation in our Montenegrin network, and one people book far more often than the distance suggests. Most of it is an airport run: Tivat Airport sits at the edge of town, and a walled medieval port with no through traffic is a poor place to find a taxi at six in the morning.
The route leaves Kotor along the bay to Škaljari and goes straight through the Vrmac tunnel, which opens onto the Tivat plain. There is no mountain road involved and no border. In July and August the approach to the airport slows with arrivals traffic, which is the only part of the drive that is ever unpredictable — we build it into the pickup time rather than into the price.
Tivat itself changed shape when Porto Montenegro was built on the site of the old Arsenal naval yard: a superyacht marina with a promenade, restaurants and the naval heritage collection. It is five minutes from the airport and is the usual drop-off for guests staying on the Tivat side rather than in Kotor.
For an outbound flight we recommend leaving Kotor about two hours before departure in summer and ninety minutes off-season. If your flight moves, tell us and we re-time the pickup — there is no charge for that.
