Split to Plitvice Lakes
Croatia’s crown jewel — 16 cascading lakes connected by boardwalks through dense forest. A long drive but absolutely worth it. Your driver drops you at the entrance and picks you up after you’ve walked the full circuit.
Duration: 12–13 hours | Drive: 3 hrs each way Highlights: Upper and Lower Lakes, Veliki Slap waterfall, boardwalk trails Tip: Go early (arrive by 9am) to beat tour buses. Park entry is paid separately and changes with the season — €40 in June–September, €23 in April–May and October, €10 from November to March. Split to Hvar
Ferry or speedboat from Split to the lavender island. Explore Hvar Town’s fortress and harbour, swim at Pakleni Islands, and lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Your driver takes you to the port; optional driver on Hvar arranged on request.
